Job Description:

- Attend and perform patient care shift duties in the assigned area of the UCC, consistent with educational background, experience, and job description.
- Provide consultation services to other physicians within the UCC or center during shift duties to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Supervise the clinical performance of subordinates closely, acting as a role model to promote high standards of care.
- Participate in the clinical training, supervision, and assessment of residents, staff physicians, medical interns, and students during their clinical attachment.
- Adhere to hospital and departmental regulations regarding essential physician BESTCare documentation, utilization of personal ID stamps, and electronic medical record applications.
- Assist, as requested, in the design, implementation, review, and update of Policies and Procedures for the UCC every two years to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Stay oriented and keep updated on the most current hospital and department policies, procedures, standards, and rules, initially and periodically after returning from annual vacations.
- Educate members and colleagues regarding the latest hospital department policies, procedures, standards, and regulations to promote awareness and compliance.
- Maintain certification status (BLS, ACLS, & PALS) and ensure that required CME credits for the Saudi Council for Health Specializations (SCHS) are up to date.
- Participate, as requested, in implementing the UCC Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), focusing on criteria, standards, and indicators to evaluate, monitor, and implement changes that improve the quality and appropriateness of practice in line with CBAHI standards.
- Attend and actively participate in center meetings, departmental staff meetings, mortality and morbidity reviews, and quality improvement initiatives to foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

Education:

Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery or equivalent from an accredited institution - Essential Saudi Board Certificate for Emergency Medicine or equivalent from an accredited institution - Essential
