King Fahad Military Medical Complex (KFMMC) is a 350-bed tertiary government hospital under the Ministry of Defense Health Services in Dhahran, Eastern Province, KSA. Job Description:
1. Supervise and oversee the nursing staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
2. Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of patient care are maintained within the practice.
3. Coordinate patient care activities among healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive service delivery.
4. Monitor patient outcomes and quality of care through data analysis and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
5. Manage departmental budgets, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources, and monitor expenditures to maintain financial viability.
6. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies, maintaining high levels of safety and patient privacy.
7. Facilitate communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team to enhance collaboration and patient satisfaction.
8. Participate in discharge planning and transition of care processes to support continuity of patient care
9. Evaluate and address staffing needs, managing schedules to optimize nurse-patient ratios and improve care accessibility.
10. Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Desirable: Master’s Degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, or related filed
Valid registration/ license as a Nurse
Must have Nursing Specialist or Higher registration in the Saudi Council or Higher
Experience:
FIVE (5) years progressive nursing experience, including 2+ years nursing leadership experience, exclusive of fulltime study period.
Active participation in or have co-led/lead an improvement project or initiative.
