Job Description:
- Provide high standard patient care according to the MNGHA mission, vision, and values within the Genetics and Precision Medicine Department.
- Offer inpatient care for hospital admissions under the Genetics and Precision Medicine Department as the MRP or covering physician during rest hours, weekends, holidays, or MRP vacations.
- Accept on-call responsibilities and inconvenience associated with patient needs.
- Provide care to Genetics patients in the ambulatory care facility based on departmental needs and regulatory guidelines.
- Offer consultation services within the department and across other departments during regular and on-call hours.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and procedures granted through specific privileges based on training and experience.
- Participate in on-call coverage in compliance with department regulations.
- Actively engage in quality improvement initiatives within the Genetics and Precision Medicine Department.
- Supervise the clinical performance of subordinates, serving as a role model, especially for those in Pediatrics training.
- Serve on departmental and organizational committees as appointed by the Genetics and Precision Medicine Department's Executive Management.
- Participate in scientific research, educational activities, and postgraduate training programs.
- Adhere to all department rules and regulations and familiarize with the APP's and IPP's.
- Perform additional relevant duties as directed by the Chairman of the Genetics and Precision Medicine Department.
- Comply with professional and ethical standards and adhere to the organization's Medical Staff By-Laws.
- Show respect at all times to patients, families, colleagues, subordinates, and all healthcare team members.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
Education:
USA: The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS).
Canada: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certificate (RCPS-C).
UK and Ireland: GMC/CCST Specialist Register.
Australia and New Zealand: Fellowship from the Royal College (FRACP).
Western Europe: Equivalent certification to the above.
Experience:
Minimum Three (3) years after board/equivalent certification in USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand and France (DES).
Minimum Five (5) years after board/equivalent certification in Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Netherlands, Greece and France (DIS).
