Job Description:
Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including balloon angioplasty, stent placement, valvuloplasty, and device closures for congenital heart defects.
• Evaluate pediatric patients with congenital and acquired heart diseases and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Interpret echocardiograms, cardiac MRIs, CT scans, and other diagnostic imaging to assess heart conditions.
• Collaborate with pediatric cardiac surgeons to determine the best course of treatment for complex cases.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care for patients undergoing cardiac interventions.
• Monitor and manage patients in the pediatric cardiac intensive care unit (PCICU) and general pediatric cardiology wards.
Education:
US Board/ FRCS – Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/ Diplome d’Etudes Specialises (DES)/
CIS French Board / Facharzt & Sub- Board/ Fellowship with Min. 2 years’ experience post Board/ Fellowship
