Job Description:
- Demonstrate advanced nursing knowledge and clinical competence through comprehensive care delivery in the Obstetrics Gynecology Infertility Unit.
- Act as an advisor, providing evidence-based practice information and resources to the healthcare team and ensuring alignment with current standards.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide advanced nursing care, including leading nurse-led clinics to enhance patient outcomes.
- Cultivate excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with patients, families, and healthcare team members, fostering a supportive environment.
- Function as a patient advocate, ensuring that patient rights, choices, and needs are prioritized throughout their care journey.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and records in accordance with department guidelines, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Uphold confidentiality standards for all records, reports, and results related to the Obstetrics Gynecology Infertility Unit.
- Serve as an expert educational resource for clinical staff, actively engaging in the teaching and mentoring of nursing and multidisciplinary team members.
- Participate in research activities, ensuring the dissemination of findings and best practice guidelines to enhance clinical knowledge and patient care.
- Assess patient and family educational needs, readiness to learn, and discharge planning requirements, utilizing appropriate resources to support their needs.
- Demonstrate respect, compassion, and cultural sensitivity towards patients, families, and colleagues, fostering an inclusive healthcare environment.
- Advocate for excellence in patient care, ensuring the integration of patient rights and ethical considerations in all practices.
- Lead and participate in the development of nursing initiatives or educational programs aimed at improving patient quality and experience.
- Engage in clinical audits and research that contribute to knowledge development and refinement of nursing practice.
- Comply with and actively participate in Quality Improvement Projects and activities to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Maintain rigorous infection control measures to ensure patient and staff safety within the unit.
- Participate in evaluating systems and programs, making evidence-based recommendations for improvements in patient outcomes and cost-effectiveness in the Obstetrics Gynecology Infertility Unit.
- Lead, develop, and review policies, procedures, and clinical practice guidelines, providing recommendations based on current evidence and best practices.
- Serve as a professional role model, consultant, and educator for colleagues and students, demonstrating excellence in nursing practice.
- Develop professional collegial networks with hospital staff, faculty, and students to foster collaboration and resource sharing.
- Assume responsibility for personal actions, decisions, and behaviors in the context of patient care and professional conduct.
- Demonstrate initiative and independence in performing duties while seeking supervision or guidance when necessary.
- Fulfill other job-related duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the unit.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Valid registration/ license as a Nurse
Must have Nursing Specialist registration in the Saudi Council
Experience:
More than TWO (2) years recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse in the required unit/department.
