Job Description:
• Ensures compliance: in accordance with the Joint Commission of international Accreditation (JCIA), College of American Pathologists (CAP) and National Guard Laboratory standards
• To provide diagnostic and consultative services to physicians and patients in accordance with privileges granted.
• To participate in educational programs for the staff, medical technology students, interns, residents and participates in continuing education for laboratory staff and for staff physicians.
• Serves on Hospital and Departmental committees as directed.
• Assists with the development and implementation of new techniques and services.
• Actively participates in the quality improvement program.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Chairman.
Education:
US Board / FRCS -Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian;
Diploma d'Etuded Specialises (DES) / CIS French Board;
Facharzt & Sub - Board / Fellowship with Experience as per Job Description;
post Board / Fellowship, CCST UK Certificate of
Completion of Specialist Training (UK)
Experience:
Minimum Three (3) years after board / equivalence certification in USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand and France (DES)
Minimum Five (5) years after board / equivalence certification in Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Netherlands, Greece and France (DIS)
Certifications & Other Requirements:
Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.
