Job Description:
• Design, implement, and evaluate competency-based education and training programs for nursing staff.
• Lead orientation, onboarding, and continuous professional development initiatives for newly hired and existing nurses.
• Deliver engaging clinical education through classroom instruction, simulation, and bedside teaching.
• Assess clinical competencies, identify learning needs, and develop individualized learning plans.
• Mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance clinical skills, critical thinking, and professional practice.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to support workforce development, clinical excellence, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote evidence-based practice and ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain educational resources, training materials, and competency assessment tools.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and recommend continuous improvements.
• Foster a culture of lifelong learning, teamwork, patient safety, and professional excellence across the nursing workforce.
• Stay current with advancements in nursing practice, healthcare technologies, and adult learning methodologies to support high-quality patient care.
Education:
▪️ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Master's Degree preferred)
Experience:
▪️ Minimum 7 years of nursing experience |▪️ At least 2 years of recent experience as a Nursing Educator or Charge Nurse in an acute care hospital
Certifications & Other Requirements:
▪️ Valid Nursing License with Dataflow
